Dripper Systems
Dripper systems follow the simple format of pump fed drippers feeding pots containing medium. Basically, to set up a system like this
you just need some pots with holes in the bottom (to allow drainage), the drippers themselves, a reservior, a submersible pump and optionally
something to stand the pots on that will cause excess nutrient to flow back into the reservior. Have a main line of at least 13mm running from the pump
and have 6mm lines coming off the main line direct to the drippers. HID lighting will also be necessary for those wanting to grow indoors.
The drippers we sell are adjustable flow, to ensure
complete control over the nutrient flow rate and achieve optimal results.
The drippers should be constantly on, with adjustments to flow rate coming from the adjustable top of the drippers. Turn them off during the plant dark cycle though.
They work by simply dripping nutrient solution slowly into the medium, keeping it damp.
These types of systems are usually set up by growers who have the basic knowledge required to construct their own system, and as such we stock all of the irrigation
fittings and pipe for you to do that. If you want us to create a dripper type system for you however, we can do that too.
Medias
Any medium that holds water can be used for a dripper system.
Rockwool (actually best used in layers with clay)
Cocopeat
Perlite
