Aquaponic Bell Siphons

A bell siphon is used in the grow bed of a flood & drain Aquaponics system. It allows the grow bed to fill with water, creating a "flood cycle". Once the water rises high enough above the bell siphon, the water from the grow bed is automatically siphoned back into the fish tank, resulting in a "drain cycle".
